OISA was created to offer a voice for the grassroots cattle producer, those who actually own and run cattle upon their private property. We are losing that voice due to global influencers using environmental and social issues as ways to negatively sway policy that strips profits and decision making from America's cattle producer. We work to protect decision making and freedom to operate our farms independently by advocating legislatively for the independent producer.
OISA's mission is to preserve our past while protecting the present insuring U.S. producers remain to operate their businesses in the future. For generations America's cattlemen have provided quality beef and vibrant rural communities, OISA wants to protect this sector of America's food and resource industry.
OISA values American-labeled beef as a symbol of our country’s proud tradition in the cattle industry and are committed to supporting and advocating for the production of high-quality American-labeled beef. OISA is affiliated with other state and national organizations that share our common interest.
